List
Das Modul Liste eignet sich zur Erfassung von Aufgaben, Teilaufgaben oder sogar Ideen und Notizen.
In the List module, you can record anything you don't want to get lost later. It's ideal for tasks and reminders, but you can also use it for notes or meeting minutes. Like the other modules, each entry begins with a descriptive title.
The field below then introduces the Getting Things Done (GTD) method. GTD is a popular way to structure tasks and ultimately complete them more quickly. Of course, this is only a brief introduction. A key feature is the categorization of tasks into the categories Incoming, Today, Planned, and Someday. This means you consider in advance when you want or need to complete a task. This effort would hardly be worthwhile for just three small tasks, but it's definitely worthwhile with a larger workload. After all, not everything has to (or can) be done immediately. This way, you can create manageable and realistic chunks and focus on the tasks that are actually relevant today. It's just a structure you can use, but you don't have to adopt it.
The Assign field allows you to delegate tasks to third parties. If you don't want to perform a task yourself, but would like to delegate it to someone on your team or to a service provider, you can enter their information here. (Currently, this is purely an organizational function. The individuals assigned to this task will not receive any notification or similar information.)
If a person is already selected from the database in the index at the top left, their name and, optionally, company will appear. If the record is not assigned to a person, these two fields will be hidden.
In the large text area, you can optionally add comments about a task or a longer note.
