Im Modul Dinge können Sie beliebige Objekte organisieren. Und zwar ganz gleich, ob es sich um Artikel, Dienstleistungen, Inventar oder Briefmarken handelt. Die Idee ähnelt der eines Kataloges.

Things: Creating an Object/Item

But first, let's create a new item. This works exactly the same as in the other modules. Regarding the individual fields:

  • Object Title: This should contain a meaningful description of the object or service.

  • Item Number: A unique, sequential item number is automatically generated here.

  • Note: An optional description with further details.

  • Name and Company: These two fields are only displayed if the record has an index number and is therefore linked to a person.

Creating a Custom Field

You can now add any further information as desired using the yellow + at the bottom center. When you create a new custom field, you must select a category in the first field and enter the corresponding information in the second field. The latter will initially be empty, but will save your entries over time. This will gradually create a selection of your most frequently used attributes.

The following categories are available:

* Length: The length of an object – 1020 mm, 210 cm, …

  • Width: The width of an object – 430 mm, 180 cm, …
  • Height: The height of an object – 345 mm, 270 cm, …
  • Format: DIN A4, DIN A5, portrait, landscape …
  • Weight: The weight of an object – 430 g, 1.2 kg, …
  • Color: Black, yellow, transparent, HKS5, …
  • Material: Birch, aluminum, ABS, …
  • Design: Custom, standard equipment …
  • Object type: Inventory, item, file …
  • Category: Furniture, accessories, brochures …
  • Status: Public, private, in progress …
  • Belongs to: Accessories for item XY
  • URL: www.lieferant.de/produkte/xy
  • VE: Packaging Unit – 100, 500, 1,000…
  • EAN: ​​Barcode
  • Supplier Article Number: 94827394, BE32492, …
  • Supplier Delivery Time: 3 days, 7 days, …

You are completely free to choose the unit of measurement. It doesn't matter whether you specify the width in mm, cm, or m. However, for consistency and better comparability, you should choose one unit. This is also recommended for time entries and all other values.

Images

You can add up to three images in the upper right corner. Clicking in the image field opens a selection dialog. Alternatively, you can right-click in the image field. This also allows you to delete an already imported image.

Info Tab

In the Info tab, you can specify which modules should have access to a data record.

  • Quote: Allowed for use in quotes – appears in the selection there
  • Cash Register: Allowed for use in invoices – appears in the selection there
  • Shop: (Reserved for future use – not yet functional ;-)

Trade Tab

In this tab, you will find calculation tools for trading goods or services. Clearly separated into purchase and sales sides, you can edit the following fields:

  • Delivery Time: The delivery time from your dealer/manufacturer and from you.

  • Unit of Sale: Containers or packaging units from your dealer/manufacturer and from you.

  • Net: The net price from your dealer/manufacturer.

  • Tax Rate: The incoming and outgoing tax rates (e.g., 0% for the foreign dealer and 19% in your own store). The tax rates themselves can be adjusted in the settings.

  • Gross: The gross prices of the dealer/manufacturer and your item are calculated automatically. The percentage value next to the field is the achieved margin in your calculation.

File Attachment Tab

Here you have the option to attach a file, such as a datasheet or a manual.
